A Marè - Nero D'avola

Description

With its ruby red color, this Nero d’Avola releases aromas of black fruits like blackberry, cherry, and strawberry, as well as spicy notes of tobacco, cocoa and licorice. In the mouth, it replicates the smell, with soft and well-integrated tannins. Mouth-filling and warm, A Maré will surprise you with its elegance.

This wine is a tribute to my grandma Maria, who plays a fundamental role in our family and in our winery. The illustration and vivid colors evoke the adornments found on traditional Sicilian carts.

Alcohol content: 13,5% vol
Production area: Grotte (AG), Sicily, Italy.
Yield per hectare: 70 Q.li
Vinification: Grapes vinified with maceration of the must with skin contact
Aging: 10 months in oak barrels, 4 months in steel silos and 2 months in bottle at controlled temperature
